Just a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace, we can’t think of a more fitting place to indulge in this quintessentially British treat. Dainty, delicious, and homemade from start to finish, all of our afternoon tea experiences offer a fresh take on this foodie favourite, complete with sandwiches, warm-from-the-oven scones, and plenty of sweet treats to top it all off.
Afternoon tea is served in the Drawing Room, Library or Dining Room.

Royal Parks-Inspired Afternoon Tea
Our Royal Parks-inspired afternoon tea takes its lead from the local flora. Tuck into delectable sandwiches, from Burford brown egg mimosa and rocket mayonnaise through to Goldstein Scottish salmon, cream cheese, and lemon butter. The patisserie selection is equally irresistible, with delights such as Raspberry Posy, a raspberry pistachio and Chantilly cream tart, and Toadstool, a delicate strawberry and cream sponge. Finally, enjoy freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and preserves.
£65 per person, including a glass of Champagne. Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-free afternoon teas are also available. Our Royal Parks-inspired afternoon tea is available 7 days a week from 12 noon till 5 pm. Must be booked in advance. From the 1st December - 2nd January - we will be serving our Festive Afternoon Tea.

Family Biscuit-Making Afternoon Tea
Our new Little Guardsman Afternoon Tea is the perfect complement to the adult afternoon tea experience, ensuring a memorable outing for the whole family. We have partnered with Biscuiteers to provide the ultimate Guardsman experience, with an exclusive DIY gingerbread kit. Children can express their creative side and design their own guardsman while enjoying our food offering.
The children's menu features a selection of scrumptious sandwiches, including honey ham, cheese and fish fingers. To satisfy their sweet tooth, we offer indulgent treats such as red velvet cheesecake and an orange tart. This thoughtful arrangement allows children and adults alike to savour delicious bites in a charming atmosphere.

Picnic Afternoon Tea
Why not enjoy afternoon tea in one of London's stunning parks? The pastry team at The Guardsman has curated a delightful Picnic Afternoon Tea menu for you to indulge with friends and family whilst soaking up the great outdoors.
Tuck into a quartet of delicate finger sandwiches, a mouth-watering patisserie selection featuring tarts and carrot cake. Enjoy it all with a bottle of Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne and Belu still or sparkling mineral water.
