For National Dog Day, today 26th August, would be the perfect opportunity to check out – as well as check in to – this most canine-friendly of establishments.

Dogs are welcome to stay with their owners in a selection of The Guardsman’s 53 luxurious bedrooms or its six exclusive residences. On arrival at the room, they will find their very own welcome pack of tasty treats and accessories awaiting them.

As you enjoy a pre-dinner drink in our Library or Drawing Room, your canine companion can tuck into their very own beer and snacks. Later, whilst you retire to the Dining Room to enjoy an array of dishes developed from seasonal produce sourced from carefully selected purveyors, London markets and organic farms, your dog can chow down on delicacies such as Poached Cod, Garden Peas with Crushed Potatoes, Shredded Chicken, Rice and Spinach and Rib Eye Steak with Doggie Chips.

Should you both need to work off these calories, then the green expanse of St James Park is just a two-minute stroll from the hotel!
